The Resonances of the Past are displayed in two ways:
On the left, a colorful wheel divided into twenty segments symbolizes linguistic areas, the name of which appears when you hover over it with the mouse. By clicking on each one, another colorful wheel opens showing the mother tongues of those who belong to that area. A further click will open the character cards with details of their linguistic biographies.
On the right, there is a map of contemporary Europe. By clicking on a country, you can view the linguistic biographies of all those born in that country.
The RESONANCES TODAY maintain a constantly updated database that organizes information about the languages of our communities and their related functions, in Rome and other European cities, in relation to the age of the interviewees, their level of education, and their family history.
